Additional Questions

What is the best time of year to visit Zanzibar?

Zanzibar is a beautiful destination year-round, but the best time for a beachfront holiday is during the dry seasons, from June to October and December to February. During these months, you can expect clear skies, warm blue seas, and excellent conditions for snorkeling near the Mnemba Atoll.

Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania. Most international visitors require a tourist visa to enter Tanzania. Visas can conveniently be applied for online (e-Visa) before your trip or obtained upon arrival at the airport. Please check your specific country’s requirements prior to travel. However, South African passport holders do not require a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days. Please check your specific country’s requirements prior to travel.

By law, all beaches in Zanzibar are public. However, our villas are elevated on a quiet stretch of the coast, well away from heavy tourist crowds. We have private stairways leading directly from your pool decks down to the white sand, ensuring easy and peaceful beach access.

Our location is perfect for exploring the island. The world-famous Mnemba Atoll is just offshore, offering incredible snorkeling and diving. We can also help arrange authentic local excursions, such as swimming with wild dolphins in Kizimkazi, visiting the Baraka turtle sanctuary, or taking a historic spice tour in Stone Town.
